DSI traveled to the Twin Cities to reline our old, cracking, root infested sewer line. Kevin and his team were very professional, cared about keeping our home clean while bringing in and using equipment, and seamlessly installed 75 feet of resin liner for us. Now we have peace of mind for the next 50 years!

I'll start by saying, Drain Services Inc. is exceptional! A few months ago I had a sewer backup at a multi-family property I own. This was the third or fourth time calling for emergency services on this sewer. When the auger finally cleared the line, the tech told me I had a tree root issue outside the building and an issue with my cast iron pipe inside the building. I knew I was looking at a big repair project. As an investor I always try to make educated decisions, so I began to research. I knew a little bit about sewer re-lining, so I decided to explore this avenue. What I didn't know at that time is there are more than a few ways to do it. I found some companies to be well versed in the techniques they used, but they didn't know much about the other options out there. It wasn't easy to figure out which method was the best for my situation. When I found Drain Services I knew these guys were ahead of the game. Kevin was beyond knowledgeable about these technologies. He answered every question I had and then some. He taught me about the robots and tools they use, and about the chemistry of the compounds they use, but what really struck me was how much time he spent educating me. It was clear Kevin wanted me to feel like I was making an informed decision before moving forward. Every solution I considered before I talked to Drain Services involved some kind of digging and shutting down the sewer line for some period of time. This meant displacing my tenants temporarily which would cost me even more money. I'm so glad I kept looking and found Drain Services! The solution Kevin presented was truly unbelievable to me at the time. It turned out that most of my sewer was in good shape. I just had two problem spots. Kevin installed two "point repairs". Think of these like a stent for an artery. After cleaning the pipe wall, a patch is inflated at the damaged spot. UV light is then used to "cook off" the chemicals in the patch. Once cured, the patch is open and the sewer is working again. Each patch took about an hour to do. There was absolutely no digging, and my tenants never had to go anywhere! It is RARE to find the best possible solution to a problem that is also the fastest and most cost-effective solution. That's what Drain Services was able to do for me! Kevin and his team have my strongest possible endorsement!

I highly recommend Drain Services! Kevin came out on a Saturday to look at the issue and started working right away on a Sunday to get it done as quick as they could. They were quick, efficient, polite and explained everything in terms a normal person can understand. Kevin and his crew were very knowledgeable!!

Kevin came out to my house on an emergency call on a holiday, he was there in half an hour and he diagnosed the problem right and cleared my blockage, he pointed me in the right direction to have it fixed for the long run and provided city officials the information they needed. I’ve been experiencing sewer back up from trees roots for almost 20 years. Every year I have to call a plumber to “clear” the roots out. After seeing these guys on TV talking about FREE sewer inspections, I chose to take advantage of the service. Kevin and one of his technicians (Tyler I believe) ran a fancy camera through my sewer and showed me why my sewer was backing up every year — the drain “cleaners” had only been poking a tiny hole through root balls that Kevin said were almost the size of a volleyball! I was in shock on multiple levels, but Kevin assured me he could prevent this from happening ever again. I signed up for a trenchless pipe liner to be installed from my basement pipe access to the sewer main under the street which will ironically allow me to keep my beautiful boulevard trees! I hired Drain Services Inc this past Summer to repair some busted pipes in a commercial building. The heat had been turned off over the winter and they did a good job of finding the damaged pipes and replacing them to ensure we didn't have any water issues. They took the time to explain the issues in person so we understood why the recommendations were being made. Highly recommend their services.

I can not tell you enough about this guys service. I was thoroughly impressed with the entire process and the unexpected follow up. Last fall the trees plugged my main line to the street several times and needed something done quick. Last October Kevin and his team did the job. They dug up the front yard, did his magic, filled the hole, and made the scene look very nice. The work and team was perfect. I write this because this spring I get a call from Kevin and he asked if the area settled. I said why yes it did. He said he had a truck load of dirt and was going around filling up some of the holes due to settling of the soil. He popped by and filled the hole with some nice dirt and said he is coming back with some seed. Very impressive! He absolutely didn't need to do that. The job he did was great and the follow up a good 6 months later was extremely thoughtful... Highly recommend this guy!!!
